Flexible Bill Splitter ("the App") is developed and maintained by Michael Welzel ("we", "us"). We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how the App handles your data.

No Data Collection

The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or usage information. Every bill, item, name, and amount you enter stays on your device. We never see it.

No Account Required

The App works without any account, sign-up, or login. There is nothing to register and no personal information to provide.

No Analytics or Tracking

The App does not use any analytics tools, tracking technologies, cookies, or advertising frameworks. We do not track how you use the App.

No Network Access

The App does not connect to the internet. It does not communicate with any servers, APIs, or third-party services. All calculations and receipt recognition happen on your device, fully offline.

Camera

If you choose to scan a receipt, the App uses your camera only at that moment, with your permission. Text recognition is performed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device technology. Receipt images are not uploaded, stored remotely, or shared.

Photos

The App accesses your photo library only when you explicitly pick a receipt image, or when you save a result image. This access is provided through Apple's standard pickers and save dialogs. The App does not access your Photo Library in the background.

Sharing

When you share a result, the App hands a text summary or a receipt-style image to the standard iOS Share Sheet. You decide who to send it to. The App itself does not transmit anything.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
